KICK BOXING
One of the most popular combat sports around the world. Kickboxing is a stand-up fighting style that incorporates punches and kicks. A well-rounded fighting style that includes both long-range and short-range fighting techniques and borrows from a variety of martial arts.
It helps increase strength & balance and improves sleep and cardiovascular health.
Best for self-defence, weight loss and overall fitness.
WRESTLING
Wrestling is recognised as one of the world’s oldest competitive sports, with the objective function of pinning your opponent flat on the ground in order to win. It uses short-range grappling techniques to pin the opponent on their back with any part of both their shoulders/ shoulder blades in contact with the mat for at least two seconds.
Helps increase endurance and overall fitness.
Best for concentration and strengthening the mind.
A self-defence martial art and combat sport, BJJ is based on grappling and ground fighting. It focuses on the skill of controlling one’s opponent through techniques that force them to submit.
Known as a gentle art, BJJ allows a smaller, weaker person to use leverage and submissions such as chokes and locks to defend themself against a bigger opponent.
Most useful for real-life self-defence, sharpening the mind and overall fitness and development.
MUAY THAI
Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is the National Sport and Martial Art of Thailand. Developed several hundred years ago for close combat, the sport utilizes the entire body as a weapon.
Also known as the "Art of 8 limbs", Muay Thai uses 8 points of contact that include knees, elbows, fists and shins and incorporates stand-up striking, sweeping and clinching techniques.
Improves strength and overall agility and fitness.
Best for self-defence, weight loss, stress relief and sharpening reflexes.
